We consider our marketplace model the best way to offer valuable educational content to our users. We need rules to keep our platform and services safe for you, us and our student and instructor community. These Terms apply to all your activities on the official account. BIT has been a multi-disciplinary education and training Institute in Vadodara, meant for Individuals, Professionals and Corporate.

The BIT website, the educational services made available through the site and the content are owned, operated and maintained, as applicable, by BIT ('we', 'our', 'us', or the 'Company'). The Site, Products and Content are, collectively, the 'Company Products'.

WEBSITE USAGE GUIDELINES -
  • Do not publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, indecent, offensive or unlawful material or information.
  • Do not upload, install, transfer files which are protected by Intellectual Property Laws or software which affect other computers.
  • It’s prohibited to edit HTML source code, reverse engineer or attempt to hack.
  • Do not run Spam services/scripts or anything which could affect the infrastructure, and in turn, the users.
  • Do not communicate spam, advertise, or sell services such as digital downloads, eBooks, or phishing links.
  • You may not copy, distribute, and indulge in plagiarism with website content or user submitted content.
  • Do not link to pages which support racism, terrorism.
  • Do not link to pages which provide pornographic content and violate human and animal rights.
ACCOUNT FOR ONLINE STUDENTS -

When you enroll in a course, you get an official student portal from us to view your class and documents regarding study material.

You acknowledge and agree that your user ID and password is for your exclusive use only. You have complete responsibility for your account and everything that happens on your account, including for any harm or damage (to us or anyone else) caused by someone using your account without your permission.

You need to be careful with your password. Keep your account password somewhere safe. You may not transfer your account to someone else or use someone else’s account. If you suspect someone else is using your account, let us know by contacting our support team at support@bitbaroda.com

After successfully Completion of your course, Student Portal Account Will be deactivated within 10 days.

COURSE CONTENT –

BIT can make any modification in study material. Like there is no changes occurs in contains but can arrange contain up or down.

Study material’s contains will be changes according to job market requirements. But once you have enrolled in a course, that course content will not be changed for you.

References provided in study material is only for your examples, practice and explorations. We are not responsible, if you do not practice references by yourself.

Being an E-education platform also, BIT is not liable to provide the licensed versions of any software.

For the course wherein a software is required for practice purpose, an Educational Software Link (which is available for public use) shall be provided to the students.

As a student, in your account, the Services enable you to ask questions to the instructors of courses you are enrolled in, and to post reviews of courses. For certain courses, the instructor may invite you to submit content as “homework” or tests. Don’t post or submit anything that is not yours.

As a part of our Services offered through our Website, We shall grant you access to our content, courseware, practice tests, and other information, documents, and data which may be in audio, video, written, graphic, recorded, photographic, or any machine-readable format in relation to the specific certification training course you have registered for ("Content and Courseware").

Regarding Course Content, its student’s responsibility to check out and verify with day wise content each day whatever he/she learnt.

Course content for all the study programs online or offline trainings, it is provided for the purpose of education and guidance only.

Study material uploaded into your account will be for your reference only. The course content is regularly reviewed and is subjected to change without notice. BIT reserves the right to modify training content without notice.

Please be aware that sharing of BIT training material or e-learning credentials is strictly prohibited and can have legal implications. If anyone found sharing BIT training material or e-learning credentials his/her account will be disabled permanently and will be un-enrolled from the course automatically.

EXAMINATION / PROJECTS OF STUDENTS–

To eligible for Examination and Certification, You must have to fill feedback form. Without feedback form submission, BIT will not schedule your examination.

After successfully completion of your course, Management will review your feedback form and then only instructor will inform you examination date. You will have to must attain your examination or submit your project work on given date. Otherwise you will consider as a Fail and BIT will not responsible for your examination and certification.

Student has to compulsory submit his/her project within 10 days to 30 days from project assign date, otherwise your course has been cancelled. You will not be eligible for certification.

For Online Learning Students, once your examination completed then you will get your E-Certificate through mail within 7 working days.

For Offline Learning Students, once your examination completed then you will get your Hard Copy Certificate within 30 working days.

LEAVE TERMS -

If student want to take more than 3 days leave then he/she has to send leave application on leave@bitbaroda.com then only you will eligible to resume lectures.

If a student takes a leave without sending a leave application, in that case, BIT is not responsible for the topics taught during the absence. The admission will be dropped, in case of uninformed leave for more than one week.

TESTIMONIAL -

If you have purchased course from BIT, we may ask you for testimonial and if you authorize us, we will display your testimonial on our website, photos and videos or in our social media channels such as Facebook, YouTube, etc. You should be aware that your publicly identifiable information could be used to send you promotional, unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for your personal information which you have chosen to display.

If you don’t want us to feature your pictures/testimonials on our website or on our social media channels, you can write a mail to support@bitbaroda.com

INSTRUCTOR TERMS:

As faculty members of BIT – Baroda Institute of Technology, they are responsible for contribution and sustenance of the standards of the institution. They should comply with the relevant policies, rules, regulations, norms and standards set to guide their work.

These rules and regulations prescribed applies to all full time faculty members (Offline), visiting faculty members (Offline & Online), and faculty members on contract / part-time employment (Offline & Online).

 

CURRICULAR RELATED

Teaching and Learning -

A faculty is responsible for,

  • Teaching of both core and advance courses in the field of his/her specialization as allocated by the Admission department for various programs offered by BIT.
  • Conducting lab practical’s and tutorials of the programs assigned to him/her in an effective manner, so as to improve the practical knowledge of the student.
  • Providing proper guidance and supervision of the project work undertaken by students and development of proper report of the industry/organization if the project is industry related one.
  • Making the teaching more effective and interesting to the students by the use of multi-media teaching methods.
  • A faculty member must go to take lectures well prepared with theory and practical examples of the course. Use pictures and videos to explain the topic. Encourage students (if required make compulsory for the students) turn by turn to participate and explain the subject in class during the discussion.
  • A faculty member should prepare the schedule of lectures with topics, tests, assignments, demonstrations, screening of video or power point presentation etc.
  • A faculty is required to set standard question papers for Assignment & Test to test the knowledge / analytical thinking of students
  • The faculty member shall not permit any student to attend the class after the stipulated time specified by the Institute so as to ensure punctuality in attending class by the students.
  • As discipline in the institute is very essential, every faculty member should interfere if they notice indulgence by students in activities of condemnable nature.
  • Do not skip any topic altogether. Rather, it should be first discussed in class.

Maintenance of Records -

  • Each faculty member is required to maintain the record of class work, attendance and continuous assessment neatly, properly and in time.
  • Faculty member must maintain the list of students with their contact number and mail ID, so that the student’s progress could be monitored and communicated to them.
  • The faculty of any course is required to watch the attendance and academic performance of each student of his/her course and take necessary steps at his/her command to improve the student’s progress. If his/her effort fails, the faculty member should bring it to the notice of the admission department so that the information can be sent to the parents/guardians.
TERMINATION OF ACCOUNT ACCESS

Instructor give one (1) month written notice (write us mail on hrm@bitbaroda.com) prior to terminating the Agreement and also fulfilling the course of any existing student. Where learners are enrolled in one or more of your courses, you agree to fulfil all obligations to said student, ensure they complete the course/ the course has been completed.

We reserve the right to suspend pay-outs, and/or ban instructors for any reason at any time, without prior notice, including in cases where:

  • An instructor or course does not comply with our policies or legal terms (including the Terms of Use);
  • A course falls below our quality standards or has a negative impact on the student experience;
  • An instructor engages in behavior that might reflect unfavorably on BIT or bring BIT into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule;
  • An instructor engages the services of a marketer or other business partner who violates BIT’s policies; or
  • As determined by BIT in its sole discretion.
YOUR RIGHTS

You have certain rights around the use of your data, including the ability to opt out of promotional emails, cookies, and collection of your data by certain analytics providers. You can update or terminate your account from within our Services, and can also contact us for individual rights requests about your personal data. Parents who believe we’ve unintentionally collected personal data about their underage child should contact us for help deleting that information.

We enable instructors and students to interact for teaching and learning. Like other platforms where people can post content and interact, some things can go wrong, and you use BIT at your own risk.

When you interact directly with a student or an instructor, you must be careful about the types of personal information that you share. While we restrict the types of information instructors may request from students, we do not control what students and instructors do with the information they obtain from other users on the platform. You should not share your email or other personal information about you for your safety. Students will never do any financial transactions or commitments with Instructor, BIT will not be responsible for such transactions and commitments.

We do not hire or employ instructors nor are we responsible or liable for any interactions involved between instructors and students. We are not liable for disputes, claims, losses, injuries, or damage of any kind that might arise out of or relate to the conduct of instructors or students.

When you use our Services, you will find links to other websites that we don’t own or control. We are not responsible for the content or any other aspect of these third-party sites, including their collection of information about you. You should also read their terms and conditions and privacy policies.

Refund & Pricing Policy

PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY –

Thank you for buying our courses. We ensure that our users have a rewarding experience while they discover, assess, and purchase our courses, whether it is an instructor-led or self-paced training.

As with any online purchase experience, when you buy a training course at BIT, you agree to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and refund policy.

You agree to pay the fees for courses that you purchase, and you authorize us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment for those fees. BIT works with third party payment processing partners to offer you the most convenient payment methods in your country and to keep your payment information secure.

All payment transactions are processed through secure payment gateway providers. We do not store any card information in our servers.

Any refund request of purchasing the course will not be accepted and no refund will be provided.

BIT reserves the right to change prices for all our courses, offers, or deals. These changes are done due to market conditions, course content updation and other mitigating circumstances. However, the price you paid at the time of purchase course still holds for you.

The prices of courses on BIT website are determined based on the terms of our Promotions Policy. We regularly run promotions and sales for our courses and certain courses are only available at discounted prices for a set period of time. The price applicable to a course will be the price at the time you complete your purchase of the course (at checkout). Any price offered for a particular course may also be different when you are logged into your account from the price available to users who aren’t registered or logged in, because some of our promotions are available only to new users.

If you are logged into your account, the listed currency you see is based on your location when you created your account. If you are not logged into your account, the price currency is based on the country where you are located. We do not enable users to see pricing in other currencies.
